Sunday Morning Service
10:30am Every Sunday at Knights Templar School
Main Service
The morning service is the main event of the church’s week. Based on the core values of our mission statement, it lasts about an hour and includes music, prayer, Bible readings and a sermon. Once a month we share Communion together. For most of the year we offer separate age-related groups for children and young people. After the service refreshments are served, with plenty of time to get to know one another.
CCB Tots
Children aged 0-4 are welcome in the CCB Tots room, a generous space with lots of toys for a programme of Bible teaching, songs, games and crafts. During all-age services this space runs as an unsupervised creche and on these occasions a relay from the main service is provided.
CCB Kids
CCB Kids is for our younger members in school years Reception-6. We use drama and songs to introduce the teaching each week, and spend time learning from God’s word all together, before breaking into smaller groups for discussion, craft and prayer.
CCB Younger Youth and Older Youth
CCB YY (Younger Youth) invites those in school years 7-9 to gather together for a time of community, games, and Bible study. We study the same teaching series as the main service and remain in the service on the first Sunday of each month. We do this to enable our young people to be a part of the wider church community and to give them monthly opportunities to hear God’s word in a congregational setting.
We encourage those in year 10 and above to stay in the service, as well as finding an area of church life to serve in once a month. If you would like to find out more please speak to Hannah Wijetunge.
