In this sermon we will be looking at King David’s kindness to Mephibosheth who is Saul’s grandson and Jonathan’s son. The politically expedient thing would have been for David to have executed all potential rivals for the throne. Instead David is kind. In all of this David is a type or a foreshadowing of the kindness of Jesus to us.
